Enjoying Fall

We went to the Temple for Family Night the last Monday in September. It was nice outside but getting cooler and it was fun to enjoy the weather while we could. Everything was going great till Livvy fell in the fountain. Hyrum was up with her & Ashton (who was sleeping in the stroller). I was on the steps below with Ella when I heard someone say "someone fell in the fountain" and I looked up, couldn't see Livvy and then saw her head bob up for air. It must have been terrifying for her. I was frustrated she didn't listen to Hyrum or I warning her about falling but I think she learned that well enough. If we ask her now if she wants to go to the temple she says "no" when she otherwise would say "yes."

We went to the Farm Country since we had pony rides the girls didn't use from August & it was a good time to go. I'm already missing the warmer weather.

We went to the Aquarium in Sandy. There was almost no one else there. It was so weird. We got annual passes again and it will be nice to have an indoor place to go this Winter.

We decided to go to the "Pumpkin Patch" for FHE a few weeks ago. We intended to do just that but it was sprinkling off and on and when we got to the nursery and saw all the pumpkins the girls assumed that that was it and we had fun picking a few out and riding in the wagon along the way.

8 Years

This year our anniversary was very low-key. I didn't expect anything, really. He'd already gotten me something and I had just gotten him the new Michael Buble CD and had it to give to him. I was going to make dinner at home and with the kids and make dessert. Hyrum came home from class and said, "Let's go to Brick Oven". That's splurging for us, lately, and I was excited to not have to cook. We took all the kids and they were okay, thank heavens. I think it was good enough to recognize another year for us and to be able to start another.

Meeting Ashton

We were ALL so glad Gamma arrived! She was a refreshing addition to our home. She was so excited to meet Mr. Man and we were excited to have her come. She was nice enough to go get Ella out of bed when she woke up super early in the morning. She let us sleep in and she let me take a nap too. She had fun with Livvy while the rest of slept. Ahhh...it was so nice!
