Olivia had a week off of school for Kindergarten testing. The teachers had the whole week to set up appointments with each kid and test each in their own time, one-on-one, and we had the rest of the week OFF! Well, for us, that meant a trip to Gamma's. We planted a garden, flowers, Gamma bought a new pool for the kiddos and we had to try it out! It was a few hot days in the middle of May and we spent a lot of it inside- playing. Melissa, Lexi and Aidan came over to play too.

Memorial Day
We went to the cemetery in the middle of the day and got to see how many loved ones are being remembered. We think of him all the time but it's another day to remember Gavin. The girls are starting to catch on to who he is to them. We talk about him but they never met him, since he came first, so it's a little hard to grasp.
We love you Gavin!

We love the days we get to make memories. Not every day is so memorable but we have to make some days fun in their own way.

Memorial day is a nice day because it gives us a reason to do something to show that we are remembering...even though the truth is we never forget.
Love Gavin's gravestone. Everything is so pretty and green too.
I wish he was here. He sure has a good family! I can't wait to see your reunion with your sweet boy. For now we remember, while always looking forward with anticipation for the miraculous things that will be. Love you all!
