#1 for this Baby Boy

Dallin's 1st Birthday

 

This sweet little boy is has turned 1 already! It's crazy whenever your kids have birthdays to think of all the memories behind in the last year and what's ahead for you and them in their development in the next. But mostly, when they turn ONE I'm thinking about how a year ago I hadn't even met them and how they changed everything since they arrived. Nothing less with Dallin. I remember the day they laid him in my arms for the first time and bringing him home to the rest of the family and how he has had so many milestones in his life already.

 

 

He couldn't wait to get his hands all over his cake.

He wanted his milk more than he wanted to open his present. He knows what's important. :)

The girls were so anxious about him opening his present but they were good about letting him do most of it.

Just a year, but so much has changed. We love you little one!!

He measures at 23 whopping pounds! He crawls everywhere fast; stands up on anything he can. He laughs hard at his brother and sisters. He sleeps well most of the time. He takes two good naps still. One around 10am - 12 pm and the other around 3 - 5 pm. Then he sleeps again around 8:30 pm to 7:30 am. He eats most everything we give him which varies daily but a lot of what we eat or, if that's harder for him to eat, small pieces of fruit or veggies, peanut butter toast, or whatever. He hasn't shown a huge preference to a specific toy but favors noisy ones right now. He also loves taking apart the train tracks that the kids have just put together. And if Ash is pushing trains across the floor, it's a huge magnet for Dallin to crawl to and grab. That doesn't go very well with Ashton.
