End of Summer and some pics of "Hammy"

August 30th~   An evening in the canyon. It is so gorgeous up here and cooler than it is everywhere else. So we, like many other families, found it a good place to go in the summer. We didn't go as much as we would've liked, however. Here's our last day splashing in the spring waters before Fall.

Ella had no problem taking her shoes off and getting right in.

Olivia had the least fear. I actually should say- the MORE TOLERANCE- of the cold! Those waters were cold but kids endure that all more.

Dallin wanted to jump in too. We did get him out and let him get his feet wet but with him not walking, he didn't stay in there long.

September 1st. Just a day after our day in the canyon, we took the time to head to the park. It is a local park and so nice for the kids to run around in. We definitely enjoyed the time outside, too.

Dallin could've stayed in the swing forever.

But Ash loves the swing as much as Dallin, if not more.

So much nicer with Dad around, too. Everyone gets pushed on the swing instead of waiting for just me. With the 4 of them, we dominated the swings all at once. (But we didn't let them stay on there if kids acted like they wanted a turn.)

It was requested that I stick "Hammy" in here. Ella asks me all the time to take pictures of their little hamster, named Squeeky, to keep it and put it on the wall, just like other family members. Olivia asks a lot too. This little Squeeky is more often named Hammy- so that is what he'll be known as I'm sure. He is such a passive and sweet little hamster. I find him often licking the girls fingers but never bites. He is durable. What I mean is that we've had him a long time and for a dwarf hamster he hit some kind of record. This little thing is completely loved.
