Halloween at Heritage Park

October 18
The description of the day we had is in the photos but briefly I will say that we got ready in costumes and went up to Heritage Park and did some trick-or-treating plus made some little crafts along the way. They had prepared things for the kids to do all day and we benefited by all of them while we were there. The event I didn't get a photo of was when they did a candy cannon. It was pretty cool. A real little cannon full of taffy and then the witch spread more candy around for the kids to grab. An old-fashioned piƱata, maybe.
Ella wasn't feeling well but was not going to miss out on the fun.

She doesn't look like the scariest skeleton there ever was. Too cute, really.

You can tell who didn't want the hood on his head but I had to show the costume.

This was the children's parade. A witch lead them all and sang a song and after they had a mini contest for costumes.

We had just panned for gold and made native American necklaces at one of the locations. Now it was time for a little train ride. Dallin wasn't convinced.
